Robert Earl Redmon

Robert Earl Redmon passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 22, 2025. He was 78 years old.

Robert was preceded in death by his treasured wife, Sally Redmon. He is survived by his children, Donald (Lisa) Sampson, Ken (Sylvia) Peacock, Dawson (Lisa) Redmon, Kevin (Maurica) Peacock, Robbie Ann Redmon, Pamela (Adam) Lohne, and the cherished memory of his late daughter, Barbara Hamm.

Robert was also a proud grandfather to Jeffrey, Matthew, Keri Ann, Ryan, Kara C, Kilian, Torin, Faith, Ashley, Allison, Anna, Annette, Lisa, Chris, Kara P., Casey, Christopher, Jenny, Alexandria, Sabrina, Kassandra, Heather, Kailyn, and Bryce as well as a great and great-great-grandfather to many.

A longtime resident of Marianna, FL, Robert later moved to Newnan, GA where he valued time with his son and a close-knit group of dear friends. Robert found pleasure in auto-racing and in entertaining others with his quick wit and one-liners.

Family and friends are invited to James & Sikes Funeral Home in Marianna, FL to honor Robert’s life with a visitation at 1:00PM CT on Saturday, March 1st and funeral services at 2:00PM CT with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens to follow. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Brightmoor Hospice for their compassionate care during Robert’s final days. In lieu of flowers, Robert requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
