Robert Eddie Raines

Mr. Robert Eddie Raines, 71, of Marianna, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2007 at his home. Mr. Raines was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Mary Jane Raines. Robert is survived by his loving wife, of 50 years, Shirley Marie Raines, four sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Carol of Marianna, Ronnie and Therese of Alford, Steve and Dottie of Marianna and Scott and Stacey of Marianna; ten grandchildren Diane and husband J.J. Langley of Crawfordville, Kelly and husband, Chris Baker of Albuquerque, NM, Stephanie and Ashley Raines of Marianna, Lawrence and Mary Raines of Alford, Cheyenne, Dakota, Chloe and Mackenzie Raines all of Marianna; three great grandchildren, Taylor and Kayla Hussey and Trent Langley all of Crawfordville; four sisters, Vera Mae Rehberg, Jenell Melvin, Katherine Wright and Christine Tice; one brother, Danny Raines all of Marianna. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating, burial will follow at Bright Prospect Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Monday, April 9, 2007 at Maddox Chapel.
