Robert Earl Hasty, Sr.

Robert E. Hasty, Sr., 77 of Graceville passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Gino Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mr. Robert was born in Houston County, Alabama on March 31, 1932 to the late James Vann and Lessie Lee Bowen Hasty. A U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Robert retired as a Mechanic with the Henry Arnold Ford Company and Chipola Ford with over 40 years of service. Preceded in death by daughter-in-law Starla, grandchildren Bryant and Erin. Survived by his beloved wife Irma Watford Hasty, son & daughter-in-law Robert and Rhonda Hasty, Jr., daughter and son-in-law Lori and Dennis Pate, grandchildren Mason Pate, Kaylee Hasty all of Graceville; brother Luther James Hasty and wife Blonnie, sister Betty McIntosh; mother-in-law Malvie Lee Watford, sisters-in-law Burma Bowen and husband R.E., Sherrill Wimberly; brother-in-law Danny Watford and wife Carolyn, several nieces and nephews.
