Robert L. Hall, 77, of Bascom, born February 23, 1942, died Monday, October 21, 2019 at Signature Healthcare of North Florida in Graceville, Florida.
A native of Jackson County, Mr. Hall had resided in the Paramore Community for the entirety of his life, except for a brief stint in Okeechobee, Florida with Gulf and Western Sugar Cooperation.
Robert was self-employed as a diesel mechanic, while spending every opportunity to embrace his love for raising cattle and farming. He was also an active member of the Baptist Faith and Circle Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Hall is survived by his loving wife of thirty five years, Josie Hall; sons, Michael Hall; Allen Swails and wife, Shirley; daughter, Kelley Sangster and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Chelsea Hall Meeks and husband Greg; and children, Georgia, Blake, & Jacob; Lindsey Hall and children, Bailee and Aubree; Justin Swails, Travis Swails, Kaylee Alexander and Brittlee Sangster. Brothers and sisters, Faye Tedder, Lee Hall and wife, Carol, Mary Watkins, Barbara Beck and husband, Bill; Catherine Kassler and husband Joe; Along with a special nephew Brian Hall and a host of many other nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father Woodrow Hall; mother, Joyce Turner Hall; brother, Dudley Hall; sister, Elizabeth Hall Davis; great grandson, Audi James Anderson; great niece, Tiffany Hall and 2 nephews Terry and Woody Hall.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Friday, October 25, 2019 at Circle Hill Baptist Church with Pastor John Holly Officiating. Interment will follow at Circle Hill Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive visitors Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in Marianna.
Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made to the Circle Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
