Robert Leon Finch

Robert Leon Finch, 97, formerly of Marianna, Florida passed away Monday, March 17, 2025.

He was born on May 20, 1927, in Marengo County Alabama to Peyton Abbott Finch, Jr., and Donie Maria Maness Finch. Robert was a graduate of Marianna High School, received his B.S. from Florida State, and his Masters from The University of Florida. He was a retired chemical engineer. He married Katherine Booth Finch, who preceded him in death. The last several years he lived in Dothan, AL. In addition to loving family members, he leaves behind many friends, especially Doris Butler Pittman.

Robert loved nature, and you could usually find him outside working on a project, with his loyal dog.

A private service will be held at a later date. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

We will miss you, Uncle Bob, and I will always remember our tea parties as a child. Rest in peace,
