Dickson, Jr., 85, of Marianna died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in Marianna. He was born in Bascom and a life long resident of Jackson County. served in the U S Navy for four years. Worked at Dozier School and also in Construction. Mr. Dickson was a member of Bascom Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Dickson, Sr. and Ida Clara Hart Dickson. Survived by a brother, Paul Bevis Dickson and wife, Judy, of Pensacola. Private interment will be in Bascom Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
