Richard "Ricky" Redmon, 51 of Cottondale, Florida died Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at his residence.
He attended Cottondale high school when he started working for Mack Lollie. He worked for Mack all through high school and most of his adult life. He was a mechanic by trade and loved working with his hands. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly. Redmon loved to laugh and make people laugh. He enjoyed the simple things in life, including spending time outdoors and fishing.
Ricky was preceded in death by his son, Jonah Redmon.
He is survived by his children, Mason Redmon (Kayla), Lacey Thomas, Kayleigh Wentz (Dalton), Kendall Redmon (Ricky Harrison), Cody Redmon, Tyler Jones, Vanessa Taylor, Jerimiah Harrison; grandchildren, Jonah Redmon, Maverick Redmon, Ricky Harrison III; father, James Richard Redmon; mother, Janice Brown Jeter; step-father, Ronald Jeter; siblings, Cynthia Redmon, Sonya Purvis Redmon; a host of aunts uncles, nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends at the viewing from 1 - 2:30 Monday, June 12, 2023 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
