Mr. Richard Golub was born October 10th, 1943 and went to be with the Lord on March 28th, 2016.
He was born in Florida and resided most of his life in the Marianna area. Mr. Golub enjoyed social interactions with friends and making people laugh. He loved people and it was easy to love him in return.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father before the age of eleven. He is survived by special friends, Don and Patricia Newsome and his sunland family.
His hobbies and interest include farm work, growing plants, interacting with animals of all types, including dogs, cats, chickens and horses. He also enjoyed music, dancing, van and bus rides, fairs, movies, and dining out. He had a very inquisitive nature and loved to help others with their work. Richard was a very unique and special person who touched the lives of many people and will be dearly missed by all.
Service of Remembrance will be 1 pm, Thursday, April 10, 2016 at Sunland United Chapel with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating. James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will be directing. Memorialization will by cremation.
