Rhyleigh Grace Pettit, age three departed from us May 21, 2022, and became an angel of the Lord after fighting for her precious life at Sacred heart children's hospital in Pensacola.
We are deeply saddened by this tragedy of losing Rhyleigh Grace, so soon into her life, but we still look to the heavens and give God glory for calling her home to Him. God has given us peace and grace above all understanding that she is now safe from all harm and in no more pain or suffering.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles W. Stephens; great-aunt, Ginger Brown; maternal great-granny, Byrdie Miller, and great-grandfather, Johnny Stallings.
Rhyleigh will be forever loved and cherished, even though her beautiful and strong angel wings were ready for her, our hearts weren't ready for her departure, and now our beautiful beloved angel, Rhyleigh Grace is survived by her mother, Sharlee Stephens, joining sibling and loving older brother, Jayce Pettit; maternal granny, Lee Stallings; great uncle, Royce Brannon; her only aunt, Samantha Hewett; and two uncles, Jesse Hewett and Logan Stallings.
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me," Psalm 23:4
We know Rhyleigh would not have wanted any more sadness from her pain and suffering but to find comfort and healing in Jesus just as she has. Rhyleigh's dancing and singing in the sky with the angels so let's all make a joyful noise in the Lord and praise him with Rhyleigh with hymns and dancing.
