Ann was employed for many years at West Florida Electric Coop. in Sneads. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Grand Ridge Preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Susie Basford. Survivors include her husband, Jim Richardson; her daughter, Spring Southwell and husband, Bryant of Bascom, her son, Ashley Richardson and wife, Marlys, Fort Wayne, Indiana; grandchildren, Devon Brooke Southwell, Jarrod Ray Southwell, Kelsea ReAnn Southwell, Ryan Ashley Richardson, Andrew Riley Richardson; brothers, Hershel Basford of Grand Ridge, Alfred Basford and wife, Vivian of Chattahoochee, Chester Basford and wife, Frances of Sneads, Lester Basford and wife, Myrtle of Marianna; her sisters, Eldis Pope of Marianna, Maxine Hamilton and Husband, Johnny of Marianna, Faye Harrison and husband, Jimmy of Boaz, Alabama; host of nieces and nephews, family and friends Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 18 at Providence Baptist Church in Grand Ridge with the Revs. Jimmy Harrison and Dallas Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Cow Pen Pond Cemetery near Dellwood with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
