Mr. Paulk was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County where he was retired as a plumber and electrician and a member of The Church of The Nazarene in Marianna. Survivors include his wife, of 39 years, Winnie Paulk; one son, Monte Paulk; one daughter Layora Sellers; brothers, Alvin Paulk and wife, Shirlene,, Ernest Paulk and Karen Kornegay all of Marianna; Mondell Paulk and wife, Pat of Richton, MS., Ray Paulk and wife, Rosie of Atlanta; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009 at The Marianna Church Of The Nazarene with Dr. Ernie Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Woods Cemetery near Blountstown with Rev. Chris Goodman officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
