James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Randall McKinley Peacock, 57, passed away approximately 12:15 AM, Wednesday August 28, 2013. Randy passed on at Florida Hospital South, in Orlando, FL, as a result of a heart attack suffered two days prior. Randy was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing. Randy moved to Lake Placid pursuing a career in the fertilizer industry 33 years ago. He grew up working with fertilizer at his father's family business R.C. Peacock & Sons Feed & Seed. In his spare time Randy thoroughly enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and hunting with his closest friends and family. Randy was preceded in death by his father Richard Columbus Peacock Jr. Randy is survived by his wife Vonda Whitaker Peacock; three sons Randall Mckinley Peacock Jr., Robert Tyler Peacock, & Brian Thomas Peacock; mother Gladys McNair Peacock; two brothers Richard Columbus Peacock 3rd, and Michael Allan Peacock; in addition to his niece and many nephews. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Campbellton First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
