Ralph "Freddy" Fredrick Monday, 56 formerly of Malone passed away Thursday, February 25th at his mother's residence following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Pastor Bradford McDaniel and Steve Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or those wishing may make memorials to Pleasant Ridge Church Cemetery Fund c/o Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Fund 1620 Reddick Mill Road Graceville, FL 32440. Freddy was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Phenix City, AL, a graduate of Malone High School, a US Army Veteran, and a retired commercial truck driver. Preceding him in death were his infant son Robert Allen Monday, Grandmother Elizabeth Beatrice "Mateat" Rhodes and brother-in-law Lawrence "Larry" Rogers. Freddy is survived by his loving wife Patricia "Pat" Monday: three sons Jason Monday, John Monday and Phillip Monday; his parents Ralph and Belle Monday, Doris and Robert Jackson; two sisters Marcia Monday Rogers and Gwen Monday Steverson; one loving aunt Johnnie Nell Welch Lipford; three step-sons Darrell Martin, Scott Martin, and Marcus Martin; he is also survived by one grandson; four step grandchildren; three step-sisters and one step-brother and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
