Ralph A. Broyles, 87, died Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Marianna Health & Rehab. He was born August 15th, 1937, to S. K. Broyles and Emma Sue Jones.
Although he was born in Bradenton, FL, for over 25 years he has been a resident of Jackson County. He was a hard worker and retired from Florida State University as the maintenance manager. He was proud of his service to the US Coast Guard and was a longtime member of Lovedale Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and being outside. He will be missed by those who loved him and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorinda; mother, Emma Sue Johnson; father, S.K. Broyles; stepfather, Royce Johnson.
Ralph is survived by his daughter, Melissa Bowlin; son, Jeff Rocker; grandchildren, Kathryn Leeann Bowlin, Melynda Ashley Jeandervin, Coen Michael Bowlin, Andrew Wheeler Rocker, Savanah Rocker, Wyatt Cash Rocker; great-grandchildren, Oliver Charles Jeandervin and Arlo Rocker Teal.
Graveside services will take place at 10:30 AM, Thursday, February 6, 2025, in Lovedale Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ed Ham officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
