A native and life long resident of Malone, Mr. Jones was retired from Eli Witt Company and attended Friendship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Agent Jones. Survivors include two daughters, Chris Brown and husband Jeff of Albany, Ga., Cathy Barron and husband Scott of Panama City; one sister, Floy P. Hill of Marianna; one brother-in-law, Jim Davis of Dothan; four grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Earldeen McCorvey officiating with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
