Pearl Miles

Pearl Miles, 66 of Graceville died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, March 24, 2008 at New Hope Assembly of God Church with Rev. Johnny Shepard and Dr. Paola Bass officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mrs. Miles was born June 20, 1941 in Graceville. She was a 1959 graduate of Graceville High School. She met and married Howard Miles in 1960 and traveled with him throughout his military career. After retiring in 1978 they settled back in Graceville. She was preceded in death by her parents Houston and Roxie Crutchfield Fowler and brother Robert Fowler. Survivors include her husband Howard Miles; two daughters Gwen Corbin and husband Ron, Amy Burrell and husband Butch, son Eddie Miles and wife Melissa all of Graceville; seven grandchildren Crystal Powell and husband Brent, Kacy Miles, Veronica, Courtney and Olivia Corbin, Trey and Elayna Burrell all of Graceville; sister Mearl Collins and husband Alvie of Panama City; two brothers Buford Fowler and wife Helen of Grand Ridge, Quinton Fowler of Graceville.
