Patrick R. Keen, Sr. of Marianna, Florida, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center, Dothan, Alabama.
A native of Delray Beach, Florida, Mr. Keen had resided in Marianna where he enjoyed semi-retirement. Patrick always busied himself with working and helping his friends. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and served a tour of duty in the Vietnam conflict. He was also an active member of the Marianna Moose Lodge, serving as Junior Governor. Patrick enjoyed spending time with family and friends, boating and fishing.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Keen and Lois Ferraris; and his twin brother, Michael Keen.
Those left to honor Patrick and remember his love are his three children, Monica Daniel, Patricia Sullivan, Patrick Russell Keen, Jr.; six grandchildren, Laura Snow, Amber Daniel, Sean Daniel, Jaymes Sullivan, Gabriel Daniel and Amelia Sullivan; two great-grandchildren. His loving sister, Jennifer Sylvester, and one brother, Scott Ferraris.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Marianna Moose lodge, 3407, Hwy 90, Marianna, Fl 32446.
The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at Southeast Alabama Medical Center Critical Care Unit, and Palliative Care Unit for their care.
In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to contribute may make a donation to the Marianna Moose Lodge #1286 or to the Palliative Care Department at South Alabama Medical Center.
