Patricia A. Brannon, 80, of Greenwood died Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at her residence.
Patrica had an incredible love for her family and friends. She shared her kindness, words of wisdom and her faith in God. She has blessed this world as a daughter, mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. Patricia’s devotion to her husband of 45 years was not only beautiful but inspirational to all of us. They promised to always be at each other's side and they kept that promise every day. They shared a forever and always, once-in-a-lifetime love.
Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. To her grandkids, she will always be remembered as NANNY. She provided them with her comfort, warmth of open arms and of course, her southern cooking. She has given all of us her everlasting memories. Her light will continue to shine on and we will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Randolph and Flossie Matthews; three sons, Kenneth Johnson, Jack Brannon and David Brannon.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Brannon; children, Pamela Hamilton, Debbie Essig (Tom), Ricki Brannon, Melissa Reuter; grandchildren, Cody Hamilton (Marie), Danny Hamilton (Tracie), Brock Stevens (Beth), Earl Johnson (Joy), Amy Sanchez (Jacob), Amanda Kay Johnson; 15 great-grandchildren.
