Patricia Louise Basford, 86, of Dellwood, Florida died Monday, March 22, 2021 at Jackson Hospital.
She was born July 3, 1934 in Waltham, Massachusetts. Pat retired after many years working security at Westville State. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling with Nathan after retirement.
Pat was preceded in death by her father, Charles Curran; mother, Alice Boyer; brother, Charles Curran; first husband, Gordon Wetherell; daughter, Linda Basford; granddaughter, Angie Cooper; and great-great granddaughter, Chanda Miller.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Nathan Basford, Sr.; children, David Wetherell, Greg Wetherell, Brenda Basford Weesner (Mike), Nathan Ryals Basford, Jr. (Don Dowd), Larry Ryals Basford, Gregory A Basford; grandchildren, David Wetherell, Amanda Wetherell, Dan Wetherell, Tim Wetherell, Samantha Wetherell, Chris Wetherell, Bob Miller (Lisa), Clayton Miller, LeAnna Stooksbury (Jacob), Angielyn Weesner, Caleb Weesner, Kaci Hawes (Thomas), Travis Basford (Nicole), Whitney Basford; 16 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Patricia Basford Odom.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Dellwood Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Gable officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Dellwood Baptist Church.
