Otis A. Rosborough, Jr., of Marianna died Monday, April 12, 2010 at Marianna Health and Rehab. in Marianna. Mr. Rosborough was a native of Chicago, moving to Marianna in 1940. He lived at Compass Lake, Cottondale, Panama City Beach and Flag Pond Tennessee. He returned to Marianna in 1994. He was a member of the Jennie Moore Memorial Presbyterian Church of Flag Pond. He was part of the Tung Oil Industry in Jackson County for 30 years, was a vetreran of WWII, and retired from Real Estate a number of years ago. He had been a member and officer of the Cottondale Kiwanis Club, member and office of the Optimist Club of Panama City Beach, member of the Elks Club of Marianna, member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marianna, member of Compass Lake Fellowship Church and a member of Woodlawn Methodist Church of Panama City Beach. He was precede in death by his wife of 57 years, Geraldine Griner Rosborough. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-laws; Otis III and Patricia of Ponce DeLeon, Charlie and Wyanie of Marianna; two daughters, Nancy Edenfield of Marianna and Ann Marie Rosborough of Panama City; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lois Rosborough of Ottawa, IL., two sister-in-laws and husbands, Margaret and Dick Moore of Medart Florida and Flag Pond, TN., Hazel and Kirk Boyd of Moultrie, GA. and Maggie Valley, NC.; one brother-in-law, Bob Griner of Metter, GA.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, April 16, 2010 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Charles Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecres Memorial Gardens Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Maddox Chapel. In lieu of flowers make contributation to the church or charity of you choice."
