Odie Bell Goodson Lanier

Odie Bell Goodson Lanier, 71, of Malone died Thursday, February 8, 2008 at Jackson Hospital. A native of Calhoun County, She was a former resident of Plant City were she retired from the Craft Food Company and had resided in Malone for the past 10 years, she was a member of the Friendship Harvest Ministry Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elam Chapman and Lillie Sewell Free. Survivors include her sons Jimmy Lanier and wife Becca, David Lanier and wife Judy all of Marianna, Phillip Lanier of Lafayette, Al., Charley Goodson of Malone and Marlow Keith Graham of Plane City; daughters, Charlotte Miley of Marianna, Brenda Tucker and husband James of Malone and Teresa Morgan of Lakeland; brothers, William Free and wife Joyce of Plant City, Aubrey Free of Lakeland; sister, Vivian Taylor of Alford; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 pm Monday, February 11, 2008 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Wyatt Shiver officiating, burial will follow at Friendship Harvest Ministry Church with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Maddox Chapel."
