James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Nellie Ruth Bauldree Padilla, 74, of Alford died Monday May 27, 2013 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee after a lengthy illness. Born in Ozark Alabama to John and Cornelious Bauldree, Mrs. Padilla had resided in Jackson County the last 34 years. She worked at Nifty Cleaners in Marianna for over 25 years until her illness prevented her from working. She was the type of lady if you knew her you could not help but love her. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Earle Padilla of Ft Myers Florida; one son, James Phillip Padilla; three brothers, Wade, Edward and Quenford Bauldree as well as one sister, Clara Bauldree Griffin of Alford. Survivors include two brothers and one sister, William Bauldree and wife, Clara, of Marianna, Aaron Bauldree and wife, Barbara, of Tallahassee and Catherine Bauldree Durrance of Ft. Myers FL. Two Sons Jeff Padilla of Ashland City, TN, and Early Padilla of LaGrange GA. Three daughters and two son-n-laws, Marie Padilla and Mark Hunt of Ashland City TN, Julie Padilla Kempton and Jeff Kempton of Mount Vernon OH, and Rebecca Padilla of Ocala FL. 11 grandchildren, Willie, Heather and husband Channing, Tyler, Jason, Mark Jr, Amber, Sierra, Lucas, Kristen, Jeff Jr. and Jaleigh. Three great-grandchildren Karlie, Layla and Jaxon. Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Cypress Creek Community Church in Alford with Rev. James Vickery officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, May 31, 2013 at James & Sikes Funeral home in Marianna.
