James & Sikes Funeral ome Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 850.482.2332 Naomi Smith Hatcher, 73, of Grand Ridge died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007 in Marianna. She was born in Apalachicola on Jan. 27, 1934. She lived most of her life in Jackson County where she retired from Florida State Hospital with 23 years of service. Ms. Hatcher was a member of Cypress Community Church for a number of years. Preceded in death by two sons, Lloyd & Bruce Hatcher; one daughter, Ealier Loni Carroll Hatcher. Survivors include one son, Mike Hatcher and wife, Renee of Marianna; one daughter, Shelia Smith and husband, Larry of Grand Ridge; two brothers, Richard Smith of Apalachicola, Harry "Chief" Smith of Benton Harber, Mich.; three sisters. Gayle Nowling of East Point, Lois Cooper of Mt. Pleasant, Carrie Howard of Apalachicola; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec 26, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church near Dellwood with Revs. Jerry Mears, Shawn Crosby and James Barwich officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec 26, at 12:30 p.m. until funeral time at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church near Dellwood.
