James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Nancy Rabon, 83, of Sneads was welcomed Home by Jesus on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center with her loving family surrounding her. A native and life long resident of Jackson County, Mrs. Rabon was a member of El Bethel Assembly of God Church. She was a homemaker, loving farmer's wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Rabon; a daughter, Barbara McAlpin; one grandson, Edwin Rabon; her parents, James Walter and Hattie Daniels Neel; two brothers, Addis Neel and Ryals Neel; five sisters, Gladys Tyus, Mildred Weeks, Myrtis Hobbs, Lillian Cloud and Bonnie Rabion. Survivors include; two sons, Eddie Rabon, Joey Rabon and wife, Amanda all of Sneads; two daughters, Dale Guthrie and her husband, John of Grand Ridge, Lisa Lawrence and husband, Ricky of Sneads; nine grandchildren, Sammy, John, Jason and Burt McAlpin, Chris and Timmy Rabon, Meghan Lawrence, Amber Collins and Kayla Rabon; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at EL Bethel Assembly of God Church with Revs. Jack Howell and Clinton Howell officiating. Interment will follow at Dykes Cemetery in Grand Ridge with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 9 am until funeral time Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at El Bethel Assembly of God Church. Immediately following the committal services the family ask that you please join them at El Bethel Assembly of God church for lunch and fellowship.
