Nancy Ann Finuff Brunson

Nancy Ann Finuff Brunson Age: 67 Born on August 29, 1941 in Hosford Florida Died on August 12, 2009 at Christian Care Center in Mesquite Texas Ann retired in 1992 after 22 years service with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. She began her civil service as a clerk-typist in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. At her retirement, she held the position of Assistant Community Corrections Administrator. She worked several years at the Federal Corrections Institution in Seagoville, TX. Ann also worked during tax season as a Tax Preparer for H&R Block. What started out as a means for extra income turned into a 32 year career that continued through the 2009 tax season. She loved doing taxes, training new tax preparers and her clients, many of which returned to have her do their taxes year after year. Preceding her in death were her father, Arthur David Finuff, Sr.; mother, Frances Lynn Cook; son, Mark Anthony Brunson; sisters, Betty Jo Allen, Vada Dilmore, and Mary Sue Moats; brothers, Arthur David Finuff, Jr., Augusta Monroe Finuff. Ann is survived by son, Bruce Wayne Brunson; daughter, Allison Brunson Weaver and husband, Dennis Weaver; granddaughter, Erica Weaver; brothers, James Cook, Bobby Cook, Hubert Cook and sister, Jean Cook Hargrove.
