Myrtle Viola Edenfield

Myrtle Viola Edenfield, 88, of Marianna died Monday, September 1, 2008 in Blountstown. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, retired from Florida State Hospital and was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her husband, Theo Hayes Edenfield; one son, Roger Hayes Edenfield; parents, John & Lizzie Johnson and one brother, Wade Johnson. Survivors include one son, James Edenfield and his wife, Frances, of Marianna; four grandchildren, Scott Edenfield, Teresa Bruner, Miranda Rehberg and Russell Edenfield; four great-grand-children, Caitlyn and Graham Bruner, Olivia Edenfield and Kelsey Rehberg. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 3 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. John Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel directing."
