Myrtice Naomi Howell

Myrtice Naomi Howell, 92, of Sneads, died Monday, November 12, 2007, at her residence. A life long resident of Jackson County, Mrs. Howell retired from the Florida State Hospital and was a life time member of El Bethel Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Howell; a daughter, Myrl Morris; her parents Riley and Ella Hamilton Stephens; one brother, Miller Stephens and a sister, Myrtle Gibson. Survivors include, one daughter, Joyce Ramsey and husband Windsor of Sneads; four brothers, Doyle Stephens and wife Edna, Joe Stephens and Irvin Stephens all of Grand Ridge, Bill Stephens and wife Merle of Greensboro; two sisters, Lola Dekle of Marianna and Mattie Lee Howell of Grand Ridge; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at El Bethel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jack Howell officiating, burial will follow at Dykes Cemetery, James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1 pm till service time Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at El Bethel Assembly of God Church. "
