Lois Mitchell

Mr. Lois Mitchell,85, of Grand Ridge died Monday, March 17, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Mitchell was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, a retired farmer and attended Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Mitchell, a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Donald Baggett, a granddaughter, Phyllis Golden; a son-in-law Perry Kimball and his parents, Zack and Willie Young Mitchell. Survivors include his wife, Beulah Mitchell of Grand Ridge, four daughters,Beatrice Brantley and husband Bruce of Grand Ridge, Hazel and Raydale Ingram, Ollie Kimball all of Dothan, Ann Strickland and husband Chester of Eufaula; Eighteen grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. hers, ; Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church, Dellwood with Rev. Jerome Lewis, Rev. Shawn Crosby and Sister Eva Howell Officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Malone with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m. at his daughter's home at 2034 Porter Street, Grand Ridge.
