Michael Harold Hutto, 59, was born in Quincy, Florida and raised in Marianna, Florida. He was born July 27, 1963, and called to Heaven June 20, 2023; he joins his father, Harold Roy Hutto and his son, Nickolas Harold Hutto.
“Mike” cherished his family and their time together. Mike began his adult life as a student at Florida State University. After spending his college years on the football field, he graduated from FSU earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He later served with the Mounted Posse for the Leon County Sheriff's Office and served Jefferson County Sheriff’s office in the Reserves. In addition to serving in law enforcement he also served his community with WoodmenLife culminating as the Regional Director of Alabama South.
Mike and his wife enjoyed life together, their favorite activity was holding hands. They loved listening to vintage records, watching old movies, and hiking the great outdoors. He enjoyed spending time coaching high school football and even though he wasn’t crazy about animals they were crazy about him!
Mike now watches over his wife of 37 years, Kelley Hackler Hutto, his children, Jillian Kelley Hutto and Mitchel Thomas Hutto, his daughter-in-law, Brittany Kristin Hutto and grandchildren, Emma Elizabeth, and Nora Korynn; his mother, Margaret Elizabeth Hutto, and his brother, David Mark Hutto, his sister-in-law Katrina Suzette Hutto, and their children, Samuel Roy and Joseph David.
Services will be June 24, 2023, Saturday at 2 PM at First Baptist Church with Pastor Vince Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday beginning at 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at First Baptist. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
