Mickey Edenfield

Mickey Edenfield, 67, of Grand Ridge died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Covenant Hospice Center of Bay Medical in Panama City. Mickey was a native and lifelong resident of Grand Ridge. He retired from the Florida State Hospital where he was employed for 30 years. Mickey farmed, worked cattle, was a Mason and a member of Rocky Creek Tabernacle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulles and Lillian Roberts Edenfield. He is survived by his wife, Geneice of Grand Ridge; one son, Scott Edenfield and wife Stacey of Sumter, SC; three daughters, Stephanie Bachelier and husband Johnny of Grand Ridge, Dwanna Davis and husband Tommy of Bascom; Kristie Rabon and husband Kenny of Grand Ridge and ten grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Revs. Alvin Roberts & Steve Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
