Michael Sheffield, 33, of Greenwood died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his residence.
Michael was born in Marianna and had been a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He was a graduate of the class of 2000 at Chattahoochee High School. Michael was a loving father and son who loved fishing.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Deanie Sheffield; maternal grandfather, William Earl Coley.
He is survived by his parents, Aubrey and Carolyn Sheffield; two daughters, Alexa N. Sheffield of Sneads, Kymber Sheffield; one step-daughter, Shyanne Sutherland both of Marianna; maternal grandmother, Oneita Coley of Grand Ridge; one brother, Allen Sheffield and one sister, Tracy Sheffield both of Sneads.
Services will be 2 p.m. (CST) Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Sneads Assembly of God Church with the Reverend Juno Douglas officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will direct. Private burial will be at a later date in Pope Cemetery.
