Michael David "Buster" Moneyhan, 62, of Marianna died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Gainesville VA Hospital in Gainesville. Born in Tampa, FL, Mr. Moneyhan was a former resident of Spartanburg, SC. He had resided in Marianna for the past year. He was a US Army veteran, attended the Sneads Free Will Baptist Church and was a retired owner/operator of a small engine repair shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Davis and Dorothy Wade Moneyhan; one brother, Randy Moneyhan; one sister, Becky Sammons. Survivors include his son, Christopher David Moneyhan of Donalds, SC; a daughter, Patricia Ann Howard of Chesnee, SC; one brother, John Jackson and wife, Barbara of Marianna; three sisters, Vernie Aaltonen of Gaffney SC, Margaret Kay Check and husband, Steve, of Greer SC, Sharon Childers and husband, Ricky, of Spartanburg, SC; five grandchildren, Michael Hall, Matthew Howard, Christian Howard, Madonna Moneyhan and Rylan Moneyhan; a special aunt, Shirley Wilson of Jacksonville, FL; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3 pm Thursday, October 9, 2014 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Donnie Hussey officiating. Interment will follow at Sims Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 2 pm until funeral time on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Maddox Chapel. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Moneyhan, Matthew Howard, Christian Howard, Bob Vepperman, Bill Cressley and Donald Land.
