Michael Harrison, 58, of Grand Ridge died Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan.
He was born in Gadsden County Florida and was a lifelong resident of Jackson County Florida. He worked several years as a long haul truck driver and enjoyed hauling cattle. He was also a loving grandfather with a gentle nature.
Michael is survived by his son, Levi Conner Harrison (Jordan Klotz); his sisters, Linda Ann Deland and Nani Sue Moore ; his step daughter, Kristy Wikle; his grandchildren, Annsleigh Harrison and Tilly Mae Harrison; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Vera Lee Conner Harrison.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday September 12, 2021, at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Revell officating, burial will follow at Dellwood Baptist Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm, one hour prior to the service at Maddox Chapel.
