Michael Edward "Grey Hawk" Bauldree

March 1, 1960 — June 3, 2012

Michael Edward Bauldree, 52 of Alford went home to be with his Lord on June 3, 2012 at Jackson Hospital. A long time resident of Alford. Mike, as everyone knew him, had resided in Jackson County for the past 50 years. He was a longtime employee of Tim's Florist where he was loved by all. Mr. Bauldree was a past board member of the Choctawhatchee Creek Indians where he was known as Grey Hawk. He held his family, his tribal members and his native heritage close to his heart. He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Bauldree, his brother and sister-in-law, James Earl and Susie Bauldree, his paternal grand parents, John and Nellie Bauldree and his maternal grand father, Leonard Griffin. Survivors include his mother, Artha Bauldree of Alford; two sisters, and brother-in-laws Edna And Tim Smith of Marianna, Lisa and John Cogar of Mooresville,NC; two brothers, and sister-in-law, William Larry Bauldree of Alford, Keith Randal and Jennifer Bauldree of Bay Minette, Al; three nephews, Christopher, Hayden and Adam; eight nieces, Jessica, Christian, Ashley, Heather, Brittany, Michelle, Nicole, Danielle; several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at 11 am, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Donnie Hussey and Tribal War Chief Tim Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow at Salem FWB Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. If desired, contributions maybe made to the Choctawhatchee Creek Indians, Inc. or the Jackson Hospital Foundation in Mr. Bauldree's name.
