She was the daughter of James Lee Railey, II and Katherine Jane Lawson Railey of Houston, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Marion Rogers, Sr. of Alford, Florida; a son James Marion Rogers, Jr. and a daughter, Katherine Jane Rogers, along with grandchildren Jamie Renae Rogers and Levi Colton Rogers and two great grandchildren, Paige Alexandra Broussard and Deacon Marion Anastasiou of Houston, Texas; two brothers, James Lee Railey, III and Louis Meryle Railey and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She retired from Galena Park ISD in Houston, Texas after 25 years of service leaving several friends and colleagues. She was a devoted member of Marianna Church of the Nazarene and Houston Calvary Church of the Nazarene.
