Mavis Ima Robinson

Mavis Ima Robinson, 93, of Sneads, FL passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Marianna Health & Rehab.  She was born in the Gordon, AL community to James Tyler Chumley and Essie Mae Chumley.  Mavis was a long-time member of Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church.  She was the manager of the Tom Thumb Store in Chattahoochee, FL and truly enjoyed her work. Mavis was well loved and remembered long after she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Robinson, son, Mike Robinson, grandparents, Georgia and Jack Harris, and great grandson, Tyler Fender.

Mavis is survived by her son, Gerald Fender, grandson, Chris Fender (Maria), great-grandchildren, Andrew Fender and Kristen Fender along with special friends, Dorothy Wester and Clara Croft.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church with Reverends Mike Allen and Wayne Fussell officiating.  Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church.
