Darlene Vickery, 63, of Marianna died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at her residence.
Darlene retired from Sunland after 25 years of working in food service management. She also ran the family oyster bar for several years. Darlene believed in working hard. She loved to laugh, cook, and she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, LZ and Minnie Bell Ward and one brother, Jimmy Ward.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Donald Vickery of Marianna; one daughter, Christy McAllister and husband, Jeff of Marianna; one son, Chad Vickery of Century; two grandsons, Tyler McAllister and Caden Vickery; one granddaughter, Lauren McAllister; two Sisters, Sonya Finley and Phyllis Whiddon; two brothers, Tommy Ward and wife, Ruby and Gary Ward and wife, Dorothy all of Blountstown.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 3, 2017 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Pastor LaVon Pettis officiating. Interment will follow in Sink Creek Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
