Mary "Dot" Powell

Mary "Dot" Powell, 87, of Marianna died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Life Care Center of Boise in Boise, Idaho. A native of Atlanta, GA, dot Powell had resided in Marianna for the past 32 years before moving to Garden Valley, Idaho with her son Bob. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Y.H. "Sandy" Powell, parents, John Jacques and Grace Johnson, a sister, Geraldine Johnson, and brother Sonny Jacques. Survivors include her son, Bob Powell and wife Mary, step-daughter Eva Ashmore; grandchildren, Michon Ashmore, Michelle Ashmore, Susan and husband Dale Grimes, Heather Cutchen and husband Robert Taylor, Shawn and wife Shannon Powell; four great grandchildren Christopher Grimes, Kristy Grimes, Shilo Powell and Shea Powell. A Service of Remembrance will be at 11 am, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Marianna. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens at a later time with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
