Marilyn Brooks Morris, 69, of Sneads, Florida died Friday, October 20, 2023 at Jackson Hospital.
She was born April 21, 1954 in Dothan, Alabama to T.J. and Pauline Brooks. As a child, she devoted her life to Christ and was baptized at Headland Ave Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama. She obtained her RN license from Wallace Community College and worked for many years as an ER Charge Nurse at South East Alabama Medical Center. She loved watching wildlife, especially hummingbirds. She loved her grandchildren deeply, and was a devoted wife and mother.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her oldest son, Benjamin Gary Morris; parents, Thomas Junior “T.J.” Brooks; brother, Donnie Brooks.
She is survived by her husband of 51 and a half years, Gary Morris; son, Tommy Morris and wife, Teri; daughter, Erin Campbell and husband, Dustin; grandchildren, Scout Campbell, T.J., Anna Brooke and Luke Morris; siblings, Brenda Butterfield, Joe Brooks and wife, Marilyn, Ricky Brooks, Mike Brooks; many nieces and nephews and friends whom she loved dearly.

Memorialization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
