She lived most of her life in Jackson County and was a member of the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church near Dellwood. Marietta retired from the ASCS office in Marianna, Fl.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Hart, parents, Jimmy Jackson and Pearl Neel Jackson, brother James L. Jackson, sisters Mildridge Mears and Susie M. Dickson. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Milton Mooneyham of Dellwood; a host of nieces and nephews and her niece/care giver, Hilda de Sercey;and a sister-in-law, Vernice Jackson. Special thanks to Dr. Joe Gay and staff, Emerald Coast Hospice, especially Marie Herring, nurse with Emerald Coast Hospice. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Revs. Juno Douglas and Doug Carr officiating. Burial will follow in Cow Pen Pond Cemetery.
