James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Mildred Marie Segrest, 45, of Bascom died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at home with her loving husband at her side. Marie was a native of Jackson County, FL. She had resided in Jackson County most of her life and worked locally as an LPN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Alec Moats; brother, Thomas Moats; sister, Rosie Moats; niece, Nicole Neel and two brother- in- laws, David Jackson and Andy Segrest.. Marie is survived by her husband of 24 years Paul; two sons, Michael Bennett of Marianna and JT Segrest of Bascom; father James ( Shirley ) Wilkes of Palatka; three brothers, five sisters, numerous aunts, uncles and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
