Margie Turnage

Margie Turnage, 87, of Marianna, died Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Chipola Nursing Pavilion. She attended Sunday School at First Baptist Church of Marianna, was retired from the Jackson County School Board, and was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Marianna Garden Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Max Turnage. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah McKeithan and husband, Larry; two sons, David Turnage and wife Jo of Pace, and Richard Turnage of Marianna; four grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; special friends Hodges and Eunice Martin, Lottie Williams, and Gerlene Hall. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating. Burial will follow with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service, Thursday April 29, 2010 at James and Sikes Maddox Chapel from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 4440 Lafayette Street, Suite C, Marianna, FL 32446.
