Margie Logan, 90, devoted wife and Mother passed away quietly on September 11, 2011 in Marianna, Florida. Margie and her late husband, Ernest who was a U. S. Army officer were fortunate to live in various parts of the world and United States. Margie thrived as a military wife and thoroughly enjoyed the many and varied experiences it afforded. She volunteered for many years as a Pink Lady at Jackson Hospital. She was a member of two canasta clubs in Marianna and thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship and camaraderie of other Marianna ladies, and was an avid Florida State University fan. Margie and her husband were long term members of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Marianna. Born in Wichita, Kansas June 21, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Artie C. Dillon and Helen Louise Writes. Survivors include two daughters, Maryann Linton of Greensboro, NC and Pamela J. Robertson and husband Hines of Mexico Beach, FL; one son, Lou J. Logan and wife Jennie of Tallahassee; six grandchildren, Janet Lee Pallone, Logan Robertson, Zach Robertson, Tyler King, Joshua Logan and Gabriel Logan; six great grandchildren and three great, great, grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday, September 12, 2011 at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Julie Kenne officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in the Alliance community. The family will receive friends from 1 pm Monday, September 12, 2011 at Maddox Chapel till funeral time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 North 12th. Avenue, Pensacola, Florida. "
