Margaret Rhyne passed away on October 6, 2016 at 98 years old.
A former resident of Marianna, Mrs. Rhyne was a teacher and long-time owner of Rhyne Kindergarten in Marianna. After selling her school Margaret moved to Ashford, AL where she was active in the First Methodist Church and at the Nutrition Center there. She traveled the United States to visit her daughter's military family as they moved from place to place. Margaret spent her last years residing with her daughter Jane's family in Tampa.
Loves ones she will surly meet again in Heaven are Walter Alexander Rhyne, Hardy Rhyne, her sister, Janie Summerlin and her family and her brother, William Mack Pate.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane Hollyfield, grandson, Alex Hollyfield, Son-in-law Wallace Hollyfield, Jr.; nieces Judy Vilardi and Patti Mitchell; nephews, Bill, Bob and Mark Pate, Gordon, Glen and Richard Rhyne and many friends throughout the Wiregrass area.
Graveside memorial services will be at 1 pm, Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Riverside Cemetery in Marianna on her 99th. birthday.
