James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Margaret G. Despres died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Jackson Hospital after a stroke. She retired from the Palm Beach County School Board in 1984 and moved to Alford in 1997. She was born on Feb. 28, 1922, in Arichat, Nova Scotia, Canada, and moved to the US in 1964 to Lake Worth. She is survived by a son, Raymond (Gloria), and a daughter, Diane (Tim) Fisher, 6 grand daughters, 3 step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, Donald and Ronald, and parents, Marie Lavache and Jean Baptiste Goyetche, and is the last of 7 brothers and 6 sisters. Memorialization will be by cremation with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangments.
