James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Madie W. Hall, 84, of Marianna died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Jackson Hospital. Mrs. Hall was a lifelong resident of Jackson County where she worked for 48 years at Inez's Beauty Salon and enjoyed working in her yard. She became a Pink Lady after retiring, was a member of Widowed Persons Society and was a very active member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Sugarboy" Hall; parents, Alonzo and Donnie Goodwin; two sisters, Ethel Johnson and Thelma Goodwin. She is survived by one daughter, Debra Johns and husband, Claude; two grandchildren, Andi Jerles and husband, Matt, and Pete Johns; one great grandchild, Jude Jerles all of Wetumpka, AL. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church at 3006 New Hope Road, Marianna, FL 32448 with Rev. Brandon Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
