Lynda Lou Brock

Lynda Lou Brock, 69, died Monday, August 15, 2011 in Jacksonville, Fl. A native of Mitchell, NE, Mrs. Brock was a long time resident of Cottondale prior to residing with her son in Charlotte, NC and the past six month with her daughter in Jacksonville. She was a former employee of International Paper Co. and attended Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Brock; her parents, Rudolph and Freda Waits Roggasch; one brother, Ed Roggasch and a son-in-law, Jeff Vickers. Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Vickers of Jacksonville; one son, Larry Gene Brock of Kings Mt.. NC; two grandchildren, Victoria and Lauryn Vickers of Jacksonville; one brother, Robert Roggasch and wife Jean of San Antonio, TX; four sisters, Doris Larsen of Plattsmouth, NE, Donna LeMasters of Wichita, KS, Altheo Hruza of Sidney NE and Vonda Fleagle and husband Gordon of Ogallala, NE. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Maddox Chapel. Interment will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 1 pm till funeral time Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Maddox Chapel.
