Lucy Pearl Williams Curnette, 84, of Cypress, Florida died Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born July 6, 1937 and made her life in Cypress. She graduated from Grand Ridge High School and was an avid bowler through high school and into her later years of life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny L. Curnette; and son, Eddie DeWayne Ellis.
Lucy is survived by her daughter, Diane Ellis-McRoberts; sons, Edwin Eugene Ellis and Edmond DeVane Ellis; brother, John Williams; stepdaughter. Sherry Curnette; stepson, Chris Curnette; grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jonah, and Jodi; and nine, great-grandchildren.
"Her Blue Eyes shined their Light on the world, with humility, kindness, and service to others. And, now they shine, bright from the Heavens, as starry beams of light. Let's look up, and smile at her."
Memorialization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
