Lucy Mae Barrentine, 81, of Marianna died Monday, September 26, 2016 at Jackson Hospital.
Lucy was born to the late Samuel Cleveland and Mary Elizabeth Bragg. She spent most of her life in Jackson County, enjoyed going fishing and loved her grandchildren, quilting and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Barrentine; one grandson, Danny Barrentine; six brothers, Odell, John L., Sam, Charlie, Bea and Billy; two sisters, Loraine and Minnie Watford.
Lucy is survived by two sons, David B. Barrentine and wife, Betty C. of Greenwood, Donnie C. Barrentine and wife, Mildred of Altha; one daughter, Grace B. Chatwood and husband Gerald of Marianna; one sister, Elizabeth Roberson and husband Billy of Bristol; four grandchildren, Jeff Skipper and wife, Marnie of Panama City; Ashley Garrett and husband, Philip of Marianna; Christopher Barrentine and wife, Lisa of Clarksville, TN, Sue Ellen and husband, Steven of Marianna.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m Thursday, September 29, 2016 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Rev. Arlester McAllister officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel direcrting.
The family will recieve friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
