James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 Ludy "Lou" Elizabeth Gambill, 91, of Greenwood went to be with her LORD, Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna. Ms. Gambill was born in Center, MS. on August 15, 1920. She moved to Jackson County, FL., with her husband and their infant son in 1953 when her husband transferred with Graham Air Base from Greenville, MS. She showed God's love through many acts of service to her family and friends. She was a faithful member of The Greenwood Baptist Church since 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin Dewitt Kelley and Raymoth Pettit Kelley; her husband, Grady F. Gambill, Sr.; two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two sons, Grady F. Gambill Jr. and wife, Patti of Sneads, Bruce D. Gambill and wife, Sarah of Greenwood; one brother, J.B. Kelley and wife, Doris of Crossett, AR.; one sister in law, Elizabeth Kelley; six grandchildren, Kelley, Todd, Kevin and Alicia Gambill, Christy Holt and Elizabeth Williams; four great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Greenwood Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. Fred Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at James and Sikes Maddox Chapel.
